China
After seeing the post about registering for fine china, it got me thinking...anyone not want fine china? I don't notice anyone use china that often when we go to their houses and always see it as more decorative in the china closet

I'm not going to. My mom told me if I want I can have hers but I really don't see the need for it id rather just get a nice set of regular plates. My fsil brings out her china on Christmas and I'm always so nervous at dinner I'm gonna break it!
I'm taking my mom's. Adding China to my registry would make me worry that I wouldn't get the other items I actually need.
I asked a gf of mine who recently got married and she said she did but its totally up to you. She said try not to look at it for now but in the future. Like when you have your own family and may host for the holidays and have the family over. I never thought about it that way as personally I found it to be a waste. However my gf said if you don't get it now when you register for your wedding, most likely down the road you won't get it then. She knows that I love hosting and would like for my FH and I to start our own traditions for the holidays especially so that being said I registered for it. And FMIL kept talking about it too. Lol
I didn't register for any. My mom is going to give us my great grandmother's china if we want it.
I don't think I am going to register for it. I don't really see the need for it, personally.
If I'm having more than 4 people over, chances are the fine china I will be using will be Chinet hahaha. So no, I'm not getting fine China.
I only registered for everyday place settings I asked for two different sets so I could switch it up if I needed. My mom has fine china she said I could have if I wanted.

We chose to register for a porcelain set instead of fine china. You get eight place settings of beautiful 'fancy' dinnerware for a fraction of the price (about $200 for the entire set) as opposed to $100plus per place setting.
I won't be registering for fine china. When my mother and my aunts were cleaning out my grandmother's house, my mom took her china for me since I am the only granddaughter. Even though I will have the china, I'm not sure how much I will actually use it.
