This is what I'm considering - I love it - I'm just a little concerned that I won't love it in 50 years....we'll see

Re: China patterns....

me and FH both like this one - I wish I could find it in regular china so it would cost less (it doesn't really even look like fine china - but it does cost it!) I just love the square plates and the leaf pattern (I'm so into that!)

Re: China patterns....

We're doing opal innocence. The price was recently jacked up, but I just checked it on my Bloomingdale's registry and it's back down to 99.95

My FI and I registered for Platinum Crown by Mikasa. We nearly bought it ourselves because the price was unbelievable. My FMIL purchased it the day after we registered because we worried that it wouldn't be available by the time my shower is scheduled. Anyway, it's very similar to the first china pattern on this thread. It might be worth taking a look at.

Yeah soo pricey!!!! But they seem to be slightly cheaper @ fortunoff's & they also have them @ the lenox outlets..........

They all look soooo pretty!

I was very worried that people were gonna say OMG lenox how $$$$, but then my MIL said she will buy the whole set for us, now all we have to do is reg for the odd's & ends, like platters & such....

What flatwear do you have? We went with the Waterford Kilbarry, it looked nice together.

Why wouldn't FH let you go near it?? It's so pretty up close!
