Did anyone notice their China prices went up??? I just looked at my Fortunoff registry and my Wedgewood St. Moritz pattern went from $89.99 to $140.00
What the HECK is that about???
Did anyone elses go up too??????

SAME exact thing happened to me! My Lennox Ivory Frost was listed as 59.99 for a five peice place setting when I registered. Now its at 129.99!! Thank goodness it all happened prior to my bridal shower. I was able to change it to something a little more reasonable.

I was registered for almost 2 years before my wedding.
The prices will go up and down. Sometimes things will be on sale, other times they won't.
In the end, the way it usually works out is that if something is full price, something else will be really cheap.
I have never really seen a store that keeps prices the same all of the time, unless your china is just NEVER on sale (like mine by Waterford).
Hey, I'd be happy to have items that are on sale at least some of the time! My china, silver, and crystal was ALWAYS full price! LOL...
I noticed that when my casual china is on sale, my linens would all be full price and vice versa. It's just the way the sales work...

I just called there again, they said the prices will go back to normal tomorrow. She said right now some of the china is showing the Manufacturer's price and not the discounted. She also said that if any china is purchased during this time they will get the price as of December 31st, not what it's showing now.
I don't know whats going on, i just called fortunoffs and she told me that the price online is correct and that all the manufacturers raised their prices for 2005 and that even if you see your china in another store for cheaper those prices are going to be changing shortly.

My friend was in the store today and she told me that when she printed my registry it said $140 per place setting but the actual display in the fine china department says 89.99 so I definitely think it is a computer error. A 35% increase in prices seems kind of insane to me!

OH MY!!!! mine went up $45 a place setting what to do .... i already have 6 out of 12 place setting
