Chinese DJ/MC - LEO Entertainment NYC

Any reviews on DJ/MC Leo or MC Shirley from Leo Entertaintment?? I'm thinking about using them but i've heard both positive and negative comments on them. Please let me know if anybody have used or been to their weddings.

I've been to two weddings and two Chinese New Year celebrations with Leo as the DJ. In terms of Chinese DJs I hear he's one of the (if not THE) best. He got the party going, all of us were dancing...he can be cheesy at times though. A lot of people use him for Chinese functions.

His assistant (not sure who she was) had really poor English (which was supposed to be her specialty) and completely butchered people's names (including the groom's)...I don't remember what his English was like. But that may not matter to you. We were going to hire him, but ended up going with FM instead because we didn't really need to have a Chinese DJ/MC. In addition, he was a little on the expensive side from what I remember.

On a good(?) note..his performance is consistent. I've never seen him do a horrible job...but I don't think he's amazing...just a solid B+

That was helpful. The other MC is Shirley. She is one of the host of 1480AM and i've seen her demo...her english is good. I'm trying to get Leo and her to MC at my wedding but Leo is booked.

The weddings you went to....was there any dead air? I've been to a couple chinese weddings and the MCs were horrible. There was so much dead air.

Sorry..I haven't seen any other Chinese DJ/MCs in action..
