Chinese Food in Westchester

can anyone please recommend a really good Chinese restaurant and/or take out place in Westchester area - scarsdale, hartsdale, white plains area?

Sure!

For eating in, we like to go to Lotus King on Mill Road in Eastchester.

They have pretty creative specials &teh service is good.

For take out, we usually go to either Golden Duck or Sout East Asia Cuisine. Both are on Garth Road in Scarsdale. ( go down the road w/ 7-11 across fromteh train station)
Golden duck is your more traditional American Chinese take out, with an expansive menu.

South East Asia has a more limuited menu, but is excellent quality. They have Chinese, thai & Japanese food. The food is very light & fressh, things like wantons, feel more hoemmade.

The Moo Shoo is excellent.

Felicia may have a better sugestion for something in the Hartsdale area.

Yes, the two on Garth Road are take out places.

Another take out place, Chop Sticks, is also on Garth road (you hit it first coming from the the train station/Popham road). DH wasn't crazy about it, but his co-worker loves it. I've never tried it.

It is a very Asian block. There are also 2 Japanese restaurants, but I've never tried them.

Felicia & Nicole ( nferrrandi) may be better at that. I have only been in Westchester for 4 1/2 years & in Scarsdale for 6 months. I used to get my nails done in near the Fleetwodd trainstation when I lived down there, since I've moved , I just went once, to a place next to the 7-11 on the corner of Garth & Popham.
I get my hair done in Manhattan. There are a few Salons on Garth Road, but I think they are pricey. Your may have better luck on Central Avenue.
