Chinese Slippers

Does anyone know where I can get these for less than $2 a piece. I tried ebay, but i was wondering if there was anywhere locally that I could buy them. I know I've read a lot of posts about girls who made slipper baskets so I am hoping one of you can help me. I love the idea, but dont have a lot of money to spend for those kind of 'extras'. Thanks!

My mom and I have been searching local dollar stores and they've had plenty. Some have odd colors, I don't know how many girls are gonna be wearing hot pink dresses. So we're sticking with black, white, silver, and gold. Good luck!!

I would go into Canal Street they usually have street vendors. My sis bought a bunch of them last summer and they only charged her like $1.50 or $1.00 a pair.

I would try Manhattan too. I bet you if you buy in bulk, they will cut you some sort of deal.

I love that idea too! I know some girls said they went to the flea market at Belmont racetack. If not try Tri-County FM in Levittown. Plus tell them how many you want to buy and you make the deal. If you are buying in bulk they will sell it to you cheaper.
Do a search for slipper basket too and see what you find for info.
