Chinese slippers

Where is everyone getting them from and how much per pair? How did you decide how many of what sizes to get? Thanks

Re: Chinese slippers

I got mine in Chinatown for $1.50 per pair, and got 75 pairs. We're having around 300 people at our wedding and I know not everyone will want one (especially my older Aunts/cousins... not their style).

I got assorted sizes 6-10 and got half in black and half in dark red. I assumed most people are sizes 7 and 8 so got mostly those.

I am placing them in baskets labeled Small, Medium and Large since they aren't always true to size.

I think this idea is really fun and thoughtful but yhis may be a stupid question. Why are you buying all these slippers? Do most people want to change their shoes during the wedding? I know the bridal party usually does because it's an incredibly long day but do most guests want to as well?

Brides do it for the fun factor. Some guests change their shoes and some just take the slippers home.

No need to take a trip all the way into China Town, there a plenty of store off Main St in Flushing that have cheap chinese slippes in all sizes. I forget the store I went to (to get a pair for myself) but I think it was 75 centers a pair or $1.
