Chinese slippers in Flushing?? anyone know if they have them?

FMIL said they most likely would have them at some of the little shops around there.

FH offered to go pick them up (he grew up there and claims to know his way around-haha)

I just dont want to send him on a wild goose chase.

He offered to go to Manhattan to China town but idk if its worth the trip for 50 pairs or so

I guess I could get them online but for more than $ ea plus shipping..

Bueller here. I haven't been to chinatown in flushing in a long time but everytime I've been there they've had the slippers. I would call first and make sure because most places will be able to custom order them for you since they don't always carry the size or colors you need in stock. You can try any 99 / dollar store near your house and ask them, they will more than likely custom order the slippers for you.

i would think they would have them somewhere on Main St. they have chinese everything there!

He called a few places but they didnt have them.

I never thought to ask my local $ store. i didnt know they could/would order things.

They have them for $1 on Main street by the 99 cent store closer to Northern Blvd. I got some from there a few months back..... watch out for some stores do charge $2.

yea I didn't know either but I stopped in by the dollar store near my office and the guy told me he can order whatever I need and since I'm ordering it in bulk he'd give me the special deal of $1 per pair and I'm like give me a friggin break, you're a DOLLAR store, but it's cheaper then most other places

I don't know where you live but, I know that a store on Bell Blvd. in Bayside called 'Lucky Bell Shop' has them. I don't know if they would have 50 pairs but, maybe you can call.

Under the lirr there are little shops (a little shady looking) but they should have them there. Tell him it's by the 5 corners by where kissenna and main and 41st meet across from the library. He should know where it is.

If you're willing to go into Bayside, I second the place on Bell Blvd. Actually, there are a few places on Bell Blvd that you can probably order them from. As for the special deal from the dollar store... I'm sure he can do a much better price if you are ordering in bulk. My mom had asked about some cute decorated boxes and they guy was offering her 4 to the dollar. (makes you wonder how much he's actually making off these things)... anyway, I know its a different product, but same concept.
