Don't they just have the life! I want to come back as a pet in my next life-- but a loved pet!

The pictures from the toy run was that in Howard Beach- we used to go every year when we lived there and watch all the bikes come in?

Yeah I could not believe it! My mom used to ride with the Blue Knights. So when Frankie told me that we were going to this I thought it would be like that-- NOPE 100% larger louder and better! It is such a positive thing!

Do you ride alone?

I am such a chicken with bikes though-- my mother wonders where i come from! When she bought hers I would not go on even when the battery was dead! It is bad-- My brother even rides but me-- too chicken.

It looks like so much fun though!

Re: chippatrid

That I know is so true- it is so cool! I used to freak when she first started riding again and then when my brother started going with her I was oh man they could both get hurt, but I saw how the guys took care of her.

When she got her own bike the guys were soooooo awesome with her. They kept her in the circle it was really great. She still will ride with people. Unfortunately about 6 years ago she got hurt really badly by a client and had to have a portion of her clavical (sp?) bone removed so she lost some range of motion so she can't hold the bike on her own anymore. She was so sad to get rid of that bike! I felt bad for her.

That is true and it is a cool bond and trust builder that you and Brian have!

I am soooo sorry about your friend. That must have been hard the first time that you got back on. Frankie lost 3 friends in the last 2 years and I know it is hard.

My brother works for Yamaha (much to my mothers disappointment--lol she is a harley girl and does not like 'crotch rockets' as she always says) and he was hit by a drunk driver on his bike and dragged a long way and broke everything on the left side of the body-- luckily he recovered well and even his tats are intact--lol

Re: chippatrid

Mom agrees but they are paying my brother well so she does not complain. Actually he just changed jobs again so I cannot even say that he still works for Yamaha. I have to ask him, come to think of it.

If I ever find the picture of mom on her bike I will post it i know it is some where on the back of my closet!

Did you ride before you met Brian?

Re: chippatrid

as long as they pay well that is important.

That sounds sooooo cool! I think in the morning (I don't want to kill the neighbors with the noise) I am going to see if I can dig the ****er out otherwise I will tell her to bring it with her when I see her on Friday!

Well, I guess I should go make FI's something to eat since he should be home any minute as should Brian

Thanks so much for keeping me company tonight, I appreciate it!!
