I need opinions on having a chocolate fountain...Do you think its worth the extra money?

It's out of our budget... and between the cake, ice cream and mini-vienese, I think we have enough sweets

Our hall just bought theirs too, so now they provide it for a lot less than they used to. It's $5pp, before it was $1k flat.

One of my best friends had it at her wedding and while it was delicious and pretty cool to look at, most people were either too full or too busy dancing/partying to even notice it!

no...rather have people eat my cake than ignore, and dance than eat chocolate. just not a must for me...but it is good. i've had it before and it was fun. i'd die if someone got it on my dress though. knowing that it'll come out after many people have had a few drink i think it could be hazardous!
