I'm thinking about giving chocolate for favors and I was wondering if anybody knew of any chocolate shops to suggest for me? I've looked online but I'm weary about ordering chocolate from the web.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Chocolate Shop?
There's 2 I can recommend...
Roe Roe's Sweet Street in Babylon roeroesweetstreet.com DELICIOUS hand-made chocolates & candies at reasonable prices.
The Port Jefferson Frigate portjeffersonfrigate.com I can't go into port jeff & not stop there...and they have custard!

Re: Chocolate Shop?
Check out the Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale on Main Street....my brother and SIL did truffles from there and boy were they yummy!
I buy all of my chocolate supplies from them when I mold candy and lollipops for the holidays and special occasions; everyone loves their chocolate!

You could always go to a Lindt store - excellent chocolate and they have options for wedding favors.

Re: Chocolate Shop?
I know you said you were weary of ordering online but after reading many good reviews, we ordered from Truffle Trolley--so far they have been so great to work with and so responsive and definitely cheaper than any of the LI chocolate shops we checked out.

Re: Chocolate Shop?
There is also Grandma's Candy Kitchen In Wantagh. I haven't been there in years, but my mom always used to get her choc there.
