Choosing a RH can be so stressful...

Hi gals,
My FH and I have visited NRC recently and like how spacious, new and clean it is ...however I'm concerned about the electrical transformer box that is situated above the gazebo in the ceremony area. The garden is beautiful and well kept but the transformer box is bothering me. I want an outdoor ceremony so everyone might see the box...
Has any of the NRC brides just ignored it...?

ive never been there so not sure exactly where the transformer box is placed or how easily it can be covered. Is it possible you can put a flower arrangement in front of where it is so this way to distract away from it so the eyes go right to that . Maybe a column with a flower arrangement on top. Or call NRC and speak to the BM who showed you the place and ask how visible this would be during a ceremony and what they can do about it.

we looked at the NRC and to be honest I didn't even notice it, but maybe it is becasue i was neevr considering it for a ceremony since we are getting married at a church.

i've been to an outdoor ceremony there, and i didn't even notice it. during the ceremony we were too busy listening to the frogs croak in the pond. it's a really nice place and the filget mignon was delish

Thanks for the quick response/tip :) the box is attached to phone pole (i think) so it's high up there and visible. so..i was thinking about having floral arch arrangement along the aisle so the guests focus more on the gazebo and not the sky and box...

dont let something so minor change your mind about the hall..theres always gotta be something we don't like..for example, i dont like the fact that mine is on a main road. but if thats the biggest problem, then i have no problems at all

We are getting at North Ritz club, I honestly didn't notice the box, but i wasn't really paying attention because getting married outside is not a possibility for us. (MArch is too cold!!!) However what I do know is they have been extremely accommodating so I'm sure if you ask hey will b ok with covering it up or letting you cover it up. On another note, We have been to their tasting and the food is so wonderful!!

thanks for all the positive feedbacks! i honestly didn't see it at first which is good and the outside ceremony area is well maintained, which is a big plus. just booking a place can be a bit stressful that i'm probably overthinking.
i would have to gree that the ppl in NRC are very friendly and feel comfortable working with them. thanks all! :)
