choosing an officiant

choosing an officiant

Hi,
I have no idea how to choose an officiant. We are not religious so we just want someone nice with a great personality, and preferably a good sence of humor. Any recomendations or ideas on how to find one? I really appreciate the help, wedding is in 8 WEEKS!!!!!!

Father Tom McCormack is wonderful. He was ordained in the church for 20 + years and had his reasons for leaving. He will make the ceremony as religious or non religious as you want. He'll dress however you want him to. He was so nice and not at all expensive. He is a vendor on here too.

We are using Pastor April..she is a vendor on here. We met with her last week and she was amazing. She had so many wonderful ideas to personalize the ceremony. We are not religious as well but she will customize the wedding to your beliefs and ideas. We met with her for about 2 hours and the very next day she emailed me everything we discussed in a ceremony format. I was crying just reading it. It was so beautiful and i'm so happy i'm using her. FM me if you want more info!

Me too...I was like in hysterics when she was reading some of the verses to us...I was like I better bring lots of tissues and the mascara better be waterproof or i'm gonna have some ugly ceremony pics.

We are also using Pastor April. She is the coolest chick ever! We bonded instantly with her and didn't even bother 'interviewing' any other officiants! The ceremony we created with her makes us cry every time we read it.

I just used Rev. Hilda Geico and she was AMAZING! Everyone said that their favorite part of the day was the ceremony and how romantic and touching it was. Her rates were very reasonable and we just loved her. We had a nondenominational ceremony and I found her through another LIW bride!
