I was just wondering how many brides out here are having a difficult time choosing wedding invitations.
I'm in the process of ordering invitations soon...yes..i'm a little late in the game and hope to have my invites in May and mailed out witin the month of May. The choices of prints, fonts, motiffs, ink, etc.. are so overwhelming and just can't seem to make up my mind what the hell I want. My fiance of course wants the most cheapest invitations available because he said no one will care and that will be thrown in the garbage can. I on the other hand am all about presenation being that the invitation will dictate the formality of the wedding. I'm leaning towards thermography but who knows what the hell I will end up with. Wore case I will go with a traditional/modern look in off-white and gold lettering if I can't find what I want to reflect a garden wedding.
Will be happy to get feedback from other brides experiencing the same dilema in choosing invitations

Re: Choosing Wedding Invitations
It took me a little while. I had sooo many catalogs at home In the end I went with www.theamericanwedding.com They were so pretty and great quality, plus the prices were unreal. I ordered on a Saturday and had them by the following Friday!

Re: Choosing Wedding Invitations
I am having trouble attaching a file but if you go to finestationary.com, type in kate spade she has these amazing green garden wedding invites, garden borough. I fell in love with it and got them. The only thing is they are very expensive, unfortunately. I will try to atatch them later, at home.

Re: Choosing Wedding Invitations
I ordered mine from HandyKane for my wedding. They have a lot of different themes and you can't beat the price. It's a $1 per invite with envelopes & seal. It's definitely one of a kind if you're looking for something different. I would highly recommend it. The paper & quality surpass my expectation. Weblink: http://www.handykaneweddings.com/

I had the same problem and could find nothing that I liked. My FH said the same thing, who cares....but we know better. All I can say is that you do eventually have to settle on something, and believe me, once its beautifully printed in your names and info, you will love it! Good Luck!

LOL!!!!
My FH said they same thing- no one will care and its just a piece of paper that will just end up in the trash. we still havn't choosen ours yet because we havn't found anything we like either! we're to the point of just ordering anything just to have something.- (my date is just by your too!) there is a great web site we found 50freeweddinginvitations.com. they have a really good selection and they ship quickly! just like the name says you get 50 free- and that includes the envelopes, replys, etc. you order what you need and they take the cost of 50 off your bill. it's a great site because once you choose an invite you can play around with the words-adding your names, play with the font and the color of the font so you can see how it will all look with your info on it. HTH Good Luck!

Re: Choosing Wedding Invitations
I'm DIY'ing ours (in my album) to save money, and the more DIY's I do the less time I have to go shopping... lol:
But inregards to choosing...
My best friend did order hers and came to me with the few she couldn't decide between and I told her
'no one sees the choices you had so they can't compare them and say 'she should have used...' so which ever you pick, that doesn't break the bank, will be fine':

Re: Choosing Wedding Invitations
I feel the same way. I'm in the process of choosing invitations now and after going back and forth for weeks I've finally narrowed it down to two. Though I still have no idea what fonts or colors I want to use. This has been the most overwhelming decision I've had to make.... I think there's just too many choices out there.

Re: Choosing Wedding Invitations
You don't have to send yours out until June (since you are an August bride) so you have time. I would go to web sites and look at samples of what others have used (the kno t etc.) or magazines. Then check out the websites of the maker and that's what helped me get focused. I looked at things I liked from others and then on LIW heard recommendations from other brides and it was a much easier process.

I am feeling the same way. I received a lot of samples, like their pricing and heard good things about delivery time.

I highly reccomend going to an invitations shop. it helps to have someone help you with all of the custimaztion possibilities. If you need any help at all I would be more than happy to help you... i just finished mine. i ordered them from park life press- they are letterpress, and beautiful.
and yes my fh didnt understand why i wanted such nice invites, but when they came in- he was so excited!
