How did you choose your bridesmaids? And how did you ask them to be a part of your special day? I've heard some people sending a poem, and I love that idea. I just want it to be special!

I asked my sister, 3 cousins and my 3 best friends. I just asked them each individually in person so it was personal ya know?

The other was: HE PROPOSED!! Will you be my bridesmaid?
That seemed to work.
No just playing.. Took them out to brunch asked them.

Well my two sisters are my matrons of honor and I did not ask them because they knew they were going to be. I asked my two best friends when I brought them out to lunch and I asked FH brother's girlfriend at my FH parents house at dinner.

i was asked once with a poem which was cute. another time i was given a card which was cute another time we were just sitting and discussing wedding stuff and she just blurted it- and it was cute.
all ways are cute and special, it doesnt matter.
i gave out mini bridesmaid dress cards and i taped pictures of my girls heads on top - and wrote them a poem - that was cute also.
whatever you decide will be great!

I asked them all in person! I would have felt weird not doing that. My one friend was so happy she started crying right there in the middle of the restaurant we were in!!!
