How did you choose your bridesmaids? And how did you ask them to be a part of your special day? I've heard some people sending a poem, and I love that idea. I just want it to be special!

I gave them 'will you be my Bridesmaid cards.' I don't have any pics but I am sure so other girls do.

I asked my sister, 3 cousins and 2 friends. It was very easy for me to make my decision. These are the most important people to me.
At our engagement party, we gave out cards asking everyone to be in our bridal party. It was really cute. We got them off of exclusivelyweddings.com.

I really didn't do it any special way. A majority of them are all of my sisters and future sister-in-law and a good friend. I just asked them. I guess I should of done it in a special way, but didn't think of it at the time. I was too excited, so I asked.

I got my girls a 'will you be my bridesmaid' card from isadoraink.com and wrote a cute lil poem for each of them. Then I got them blank tank tops with the word bridesmaid embroidered in hot pink from djchic.com. I put the card and the tank in a gift bag and gave it to them - they thought it was the cutest thing ever

For the last couple of years I've had the same close group of girl friends and I always knew I wanted them in my bridal party, so that's who I chose in addition to FH's sister.
I just made a point to ask each of them in person. No poems or cards or anything. I think those ideas are cute, but just not me.

I made will you be my bridesmaid cards (pics in album). My MOH(my best friend) I asked the day of the LIW bridal show with flowers, my cousin (BM) I asked over lunch. MY FH nieces (Jr Bm) & my niece (FG) I asked at our engagement party. and everyone said yes -- of course!!! applause:

well i have 3 sisters so thats a given and i dont even need to ask, bc they already know..... there maybe 2/3 other ppl we need to ask, but we are having some bridal party issues right now and i dont know what we decided yet!!!!

ididnt ask them any special way i just blurted it out bc i was so excited - i regret that now. . .not that i asked LOL just that i didnt do anything special! as for who to pick: i knew i wanted my cousin as my MOH and my closest friend as my BM - i didnt include my sister, SILs or other cousins. . . bc quite honestly they all have their own families and concerns and i just felt too guilty asking them to spend all that time and money on me. . . my Jr BM and flower girls are our nieces. . . and my best friend's little sister will also be a Jr BM - bc i watched her grow up and i knew i always wanted her in it!

I made a scrapbook for my MOH (best friend) of us growing up together up until now with a poem at the end. And for my bridemaids I did picture frames with a poem asking them to be my bridesmaid on veluim over our picture. I asked my bridemaids at our engagement party and I asked my MOH when we went to dinner together.

I pick those I felt were closest to me and have been there for me throughout my life and FH and I relationship - My Sis-n-Law - I have known her since my brother and her started dating in 5th grade!!!! - she is like a sister to me. My cousin Melissa - Well...... she is like my second half...I love her so much. My best friend Cynthia.... The first girl to show me how to party. My cousin Yamel... well she's my cousin!! My soon to be Neice -in-law... Christina... We are super close and have been even before FH and I got together. I asked them by mailing them personal cards with a charm necklace.

I only wanted one. And it is my best friend that I have had since almost birth. This way there were no sisters arguing, no friends feeling slighted, no drama with dresses and blah blah blah.
I said 'Hey, Rob and I are getting married' She said 'Cool, what color dress am I wearing?'
