OMG..I totally didn't see this babe! So sorry!

I finally got the car back on Friday and they instructed me to fill up the tank of gas and drive it around. I did that, put in some dry gas (to take all impurities out and decrease the water that may be in the gas and tank) and it's running like it should be. I cannot believe that they had my car for that long, and it was due to watered down gas! I spoke w/someone at American Honda and placed a very thoroug complaint and waiting on the 'package' they're supposedly sending me right now.

I am finished w/that service center, and will be taking it to another center going forward.

Thanks for asking sweetie!!!

wow! all of that for watered down gas.

UGH...you don't happen to go to the same places for gas, so you could narrow it down and place a complaint.

gas is so effing expensive, and then it's watered down.

I hate people.

Watered down gas can cause a mess. What kind of package is Honda sending you?

I think that we're currently dealing with that with our car.

It's really not the responsiblity of the gas station, but it happens. There could be impurities (not necessarily water) that get through the tanks where the gas is stored under the station. Cars are so sensitive these days, that they stop working on really poor fuel.

Fortunately, the best solution is putting dry gass in or even a bottle of rubbing alcohol. That will take all the water and impurities out.

I feel like a mechanic! LOL
