CHRISTMAS EVE QOTD!!!!

Original post by es2189

In honor of the holiday (I've always thought of Christmas Eve as just as much of a holiday as Christmas day...), here's my question...

*****What is your favorite Christmas (or Hanukkah!!!) memory from when you were a kid?*****

I think my favorite memory from when I was a kid was going to my grandma's house for Christmas Eve dinner. I can't remember specific years, because all the good things blend together, but it was the only time that we got together with my mom's side of the family, and it was really nice. Oh...and there was the year that I got a zipline, which was pretty great!!!!

Re: CHRISTMAS EVE QOTD!!!!

One year we woke up and there were all the presents under the tree. My sister swore that she heard santa up on the roof. we looked up the chimney and we 'saw' his footprints!! he brought us such fun toys. we always had big family parties.
not my fav memory but when i was little we were dropping food off at my gmas house and we were leaving me and my sis were fighting for the front seat of the car n my hand got stuck in the door and i dislocated and broke my pinky. we spend the rest of christmas in the er room

Re: CHRISTMAS EVE QOTD!!!!

My fav memory is this Christmas Eve. I really reconnected w/ a lot of family members.. I felt like a real part of the family, and I know this might sound corny, but it was just so beautiful.
