One of my best friends is very down in the dumps. Her husband is out of work so they are not doing presents this year, for the first time in 13 years. They got for their kids but not for eachother.
I wanted to do something nice for them but I dont know what. Im tight on money too, but I want them to have something to open for eachother under the tree..
I was thinking a bottle of wine but with what? Any ideas?

Maybe the wine with a gift card to a restaurant (not an expensive one) or to rent a movie and the offer to watch the kids one night so they can have/go on a date.

Re: Christmas friend help...
i wanted something for both of them...then I was thinking of doing something like, a gift for her and a separate for him... but then that defeats the purpose of 'them' lol...
I was also thinking of like, leaving a box for him with a sweater in it, and a box for her with something in it, and writing like, to them from them and not telling them who it was from...
does that make sense?like if i left it on their door or got one of my sisters friends to deliver it...

Dinner and a movie with u as the babysitter sounds perfect - you can get movie gift cards and a g/c to somewhere cheap like applebees or fridays
