Hey ladies what do you think about having a holiday party GTG? I know it is early but what are some Ideas to get the next GTG going? Maybe this time we can have it more closer like the middle of suffolk and the middle of Nassau?
I know a couple of places where we can do a cocktail-style holiday party for a fixed price per person. I'll make some calls.
ETA: We should make it a couples party
i like that idea with our Fh's so the guys can meet
I love the idea, but I think the guys will be bashing LIweddings 2 much! Then I will have to kill Steve.
Haha...yeah...I am not even sure I will be able to convince FH to go at all...oh well...I'll just have to go stag!
lol yeah right FH would laugh at me if I told him he had to come to a LIW GTG he would be like ok sure Dina !!

Lessings hasa restaurant called the Bulldog Grille in Amityville (my old hometown--many a night at this place ) where we can do a 3 hour beer and wine cocktail party for $25++....Maybe if I call (I used to work for Lessings) we can get an all-inclusive $25 pp since we're on LIW, etc...I am gonna pull some strings

Re: Christmas party -GTG
It sounds like so much fun! Last year when I was in Boston my office christmas party did a thing called a Yankee Swap.
What happens is depending on how many people there is everyone get a number between say 1-20. Everyone bring a wrapped gift at a certain price point last year we did $20.
Everyone wraps the gift nice or crazy so people want to pick your gift. So the person with number 1 picks the first gift and opens it. Now the next person to pick opens there gift and if they want it they keep it but if they want number 1's gift then they can take that. So the next person to go can keep there gift of take number 1 or 2 gifts (Hope I am not confusing anyone). So this goes on until the last person picks there gift. So the person who had number 1 can now pick any gift they want!! Number 1 is the best number to have.
It was a lot of laughs. People brought stuff like a box of wine, a framed photo of themselves it was hysterical!
