I'm sitting here in my living room staring at my drooping tree, but do not have the energy, ambition to take it down yet. Is anyone else waiting until this weekend?

We are waiting till the weekend too. Its so sad how quick the holidays fly by. DH wanted to take it down the other night, I just gave him the look and he said 'ok, we will wait'

I think I am waiting until the weekend too. I have no time or desire.

I had not energy to take mine down either. DH and I finally took it down today. What a pain and a mess. It makes my livingroom look so empty!

We are most likely taking ours down by this weekend as well. I hate taking it down and how naked the room looks.

We just took ours down. Those needles make such a mess! Maybe next year we will try that bag that you can buy to bring the tree inside in and take it out in. I heard good things about it from a girl at work.

Re: Christmas Tree Woes
I can't believe how many people take their trees down so early!! Two houses on my block had theirs at the curb before New Year's Eve!!!
Mine will be up at LEAST until the weekend.

ours is still up too. We may do it this week or weekend. Its really drying up so i don't want to wait too long. Sad to see it go
About the tree bags-- last year we waited till it was time to throw it out to buy the bags, and everyone was all out. So this year we bought them before we even got the tree.
