church

is there some kind of website or something that i could go to that would say the different ways things are done at a church wedding.

I was looking on BHB and someone posted about parents being remarried and her FH walking down the aisle with his biological parents. but someone else mentioned her FH already being at the alter. I have always seen the groom at the alter, at least i think, i dont remember them ever walking down with his parents.

FH's parents are both remarried. He doesnt really talk to his real dad, but im sure he'll be at the wedding. DOnt think it would be very comfortable for FH or his mom to be walking down with his dad.

I really need some kind of an outline of the different ways things are done... haha.. think it would help in all these small details that i would prob never think of.

have you tried looking at theknot.com or weddingchannel.com and blisswedding.com

they usually have pretty good articles about that kind of stuff.

Re: church

fh walk down the aisle with their parents in traditional jewish weddings, and some other cultures too. From what Ive experienced, FH are already waiting on the alter in most christian weddings.
