Going to the church tonight to book.. Any helpful advice or last minute things/questions I should be aware of or prepared for?

I wouldn't mention at all that you already booked your reception hall. They view the ceremony as being the most important part of your wedding day (and I agree about that part) so they feel that the church booking comes first and then everything else.

Yes--don't mention that you booked your RH. Tell them you have a particular date in mind instead. Otherwise, it's a piece of cake.
