My sister is looking for a church to get married in. Her FH didn't make all his sacrements. Does he need to? Or are there churches that will allow them to marry?? He was baptized though. But nothing else
I am baptized and made my communion but i didnt make my confirmation and i am still aloud to get married at my church...some roman catholic churches will not allow u to be married unless u both have done all three but some let u if one of u has made them..u just have to call and ask or go to a servce and speak with him afterwards...
Same here - Im Roman Chatolic.... baptized & made commuion...but have not received comformation.... My chruch said it's not a problem...It depends on the church... Some say you have to make it.... However he could always receive conformation as an adult,.... I think I may even though I dont have to, to be married in my chruch
I think it depends on the church. I'd make an appointment to speak with the priest and let him know the situation and see if they're fine with that.
Definitely speak to your church. FH and I were both baptized and made communion, but not confirmation. In order for us to get married at our church we had to make confirmation which we did with another couple and the church saw as an opportunity to get to know us. It's not at all bad and you have time if he does need to get his sacraments.
