hello all!
im getting married September 20th,
at St. Nicholas Greek orthodox church in Babylon, our church alter burned two nights ago, I just got the call.
any other brides having their wedding there? what do I do??? im 59 days away

Start calling around to other Greek Orthodox churches on the island and see if they have your date open. I'm sure they'll be understanding of the situation. Maybe also call the church office and ask them what they think you should do, and if your priest can perform the ceremony elsewhere.

We did and my church is making all those calls, the surrounding churches as of now are booked.
And I think it's a little tricky to have some of our guests travel the opposite direction from the catering hall and then back there . And I think I need to print something to explain the relocation of the ceremony, it has been a stressful week
