Church Brides
At my church, the couple that ran our precana is doing the rehearsal. Should I be inviting them to rehearsal dinner? if so, wedding too? I am inviting the priest to my wedding, but he won't be at the rehearsal. it may be awkward, but probably polite. What are you guys doing?

Re: Church Brides
I don't think you would have to invite the couple. The priest is doing the precana with us. We are inviting him to the reception.

Re: Church Brides
Do you have to- no. Is it a nice gesture- yes. I would invite them to the RD if you can afford it. Not to the wedding though.

I think it all depends on if you feel you made a 'connection' w/ this couple. I'm sure they do this all the time & I can't see everyone inviting them to the rehersal dinner. To me that's a place where the wedding party gets to know eachother. You can always put them on your 'B' list for the wedding.

Re: Church Brides
ugh, I am in the middle of pre-cana right now and I am very bitter and hating every minute of it! I would never invite the couple that's running it, even if they did the rehearsal. You can invite them to the church only. I'm sure they do a lot of precana groups and couldn't afford to go the all of the weddings anyway. I wouln't invite them to the rehearsal dinner either. thats a special time for you to spend with the limited amout of people that have the most special parts in your wedding. good luck.Welcome New Vendors
