My FH and I met w/ the priest and the priest is asking for a 700.00 donation plus any enhancements for the ceremony...talk about putting a price on 'donations' ! i really wanted to get married in a church but its looking a bit steep.
Mine is $900 + $125 for the singer and $125 for the organist it's crazy!

I'm getting married at the Fodham Univ. Church since I went to school there and they charge an arm and a leg...it's $1200, plus about $500 for the organist and a soloist... but the kick in the pants is the 'late fee.' If I'm not walking down the aisle on time I'm charge $250!!!!!
You're right, church ceremonies are beautiful but you don't realize how pricey they become until planning!!

Im getting married in a have to give a donation of 350 to the church i think 200 to the music people and i havre to tip alter boys 10 each. Pay $150 for precanna

Ha anyone's heard of such donation?
Holy donation, we have a 400.00 one.....is that the only church you guys want??? Maybe look around at some others???
