For the girls that have gotten married already and had a ceremony not mass at the church how long did it take? Our priest told us it would be around 45 minutes, that seems long to me especially since that is the length of a mass. Thank you ladies!!!!
My ceremony was probably around 25-30 minutes. With every one getting into the church and the receiving line at the end 45 minutes sounds right.
and what exactly is the difference between a ceremony and mass? just communion, right?
More prayers, readings, and communion.
Ours was 1/2 hr
We had communion (not Catholic) with that and 2 readings the entire thing was just about 40-45 minutes and another 15 for receiving line
