Church Ceremony
So my FH cousin is doing our church ceremony, but he lives in Staten Island. As far as picking readings, music, order etc- do we do it with him over the phone or with the church we're getting married in? Also- I don't think he can make the rehearsal since it's 2 days before the wedding. Would a priest from my church run it instead?

Church Ceremony - Long Island Weddings
I would talk to your church about the rehearsal because a lot of churches don't have the person marrying you do the rehearsal. Like I am getting married by a deacon, but he won't be at the rehearsal. My church has a couple of the community do the rehearsals for them. For the readings, I believe you guys pick it all on your own and just tell them what you want at your rehearsal. There is usually a form they give you that you fill out with which readings you have chose and who you have chosen to read them. The music we have to meet with the organist and choose music together with him.
I would contact the rectory to find out all the details though.
