I'm pretty certain if you're marrying in a catholic church you need both. I think it cost around $300 total for both
We need booth and it wasn't an extra charge, I'm sure it was just built into what we're paying for the ceremony.
It depends on your church. Ask them. Both are a requirement for us. Foccus is through the diocese so everyone pays the same.. $75. Pre Cana is usually done by your church. Our church is only $50 for pre Cana. So $125 total for both.
It depends on the church. My parish did not require FOCCUS, and Pre-Cana was $125. Ask about Weekend Marriage Encounter too, as you might be able to do this as an alternative to Pre-Cana.
It depends on where your church is. I know out on the island you have to both but in the five boroughs you do not. Pure cana is mandatory though.
I am getting married in a catholic church, and it is up to your church as to what you are required to do. Mine did not require us to do FOCCUS, but we did have to go to precana. Your church should have specified this upon your first meeting. I would call them asap!
We were required to do both foccus is about 30 bucks and our precana was like 70 ish if I remember correctly

Crashing! If we did ours through our church FOCCUS and PreCana were included in the price they gave us (price/donation.. Call it what you want lol). We couldn't make the PreCana sessions with our church so we paid the $300 to do it through the Diocese of Rockville Center. Includes both and is only a weekend long (Sat and Sun and you are done!). If you go through the Diocese book ASAP because they seem to book fast!

This exactly. That's what i had to do for Rockville Centre diocese. It wasn't bad.
