What are you guys doing in your churches? I am not sure about decorating pews and then something for altar? Any ideas?

for the pews i am using calla lily's and orchids. I have 2 altar arrangements and are bigger versions of our CP which is calla's, orchids and curly willow branches, those will also be brought back to the rh after and set up by our table, behind us somewhere

Because we got married about two weeks before Christmas, the church was still pretty bare (Advent; not much up other than two trees on the back of the altar). We went for simple and it worked out beautifully. On the altar, we had 3 large pint and white poinsettias, and then for pew bows, our florist tied up sprigs of white pine (long needle pine, like what you find in roping) with a white bow and sea shells (we had a nautical theme).
It was beautiful and simple, not over kill, and most importantly, it didn't break the bank.
