church dilemma

my reception starts at 12:30... I've been speaking with churchs who have ceremonies at like 11:00....

For those that got married in the daytime how did you swing a ceremony in a church , pictures, and not miss your cocktail hour?

Are you having a mass or a ceremony?

If it's a ceremony you'll be done by 11:30. Depending how far away your reception site is you should have enough time for pictures. You may cut into cocktail hour a little bit but not too much.
