FH and I really want to get married in this one particular church, however they require at least one of us to be a member of their church. FH would like to lie and say that he attends regularly. Is this bad?? Am I crazy for even considering this??

Re: Church Dilemma
I hate to be honest but I think they know if you are registered or not..Also I hate to say this also but I think they go by your weekly donations to see if you really go to church or not...

Re: Church Dilemma
Why do you want to get married there if neither of you is a member?

Re: Church Dilemma
you have to do what you have to do....we did - so if you lied...no biggie.....trust me, the church has larger issues to deal with
regardless, you'll have to sign up as parishoners...right?

Re: Church Dilemma
Our church needed us to be members and they wouldn't even continue our phone conversation until they checked records.
