Church Directions

I have to include directions to my church because everyone seems to think I live in the boonies.

Now here's my question- I was thinking of printing them on really elegant business cards. On the one side I put a scanned picture of my church with the church's name in the same font my invitations are done in and on the other side I have the directions.

Good idea??

Re: Church Directions

that is really similar to what i did. I then also laminated them (just because I am mental like that) and glued a tiny silver bride and groom on it. They loved them. Look at the Avery paper sets they have in Staples and stuff.... they have notecard and business card (i used noted card). Just make sure you get the right type for your printer. It saved me so much time using them

Re: Church Directions

I had my calligrapher do my direction cards to the hall and church. Your idea is much nicer than just photocoping the directions. Good idea.

Re: Church Directions

My church has a website, so I took a picture of the church from there, and made my own direction cards. I printed them on heavy stock paper I bought in Staples and they looked fantastic. The Church picture ended up being a watermark so it was seen behind the writing. I think doing your own in the way to go.

venting

my church gave me an 8X10 paper with directions with so much space in between I couldn't shrink it. I printed my directions out on heavy stock paper with my new ink jet printer, church on the front and hall on the back of the same card. I waited about 3 days before stuffing my invites. A lot of the RSVPS I'm getting back have a imprint of that black ink on them, and the one or two invites I saw on thre fridge of some friends houses, have a light imprint over the writing on the invite. I was soooo upset, after working so hard to find just the right invitation, so a heads up - don't do what I did. Even though they came out nice, I should have just printed up one and then made copies of it, instead of printing them all....
