Church Flowers
Is this a necessity? Has anyone not done them and does it save money? I know my church has two things of flowers on the alter already. They are red though and I'm not sure what the color for May would be.

I am not doing church flowers... there will already be flowers on the altar. and I will be there for a 30 min ceremony so i figured i'd save in this area
we are doing two pieces for the alter which will then be brought to our RH to be placed by our table... they are also going to decorate some of the pews with tooling & flowers.. i think it's a nice added touch.. but not necessary if you are looking to save some money to use somewhere else
I'm getting married at the RH, but we are most likely not having any flowers in there.
We are having flowers at the church...my fathers is a florist and FH a wholesale florist so we are going all out on flowers. But with that said I don't think you need them most churches usually have some flowers on the alter.
We're having two large arrangements at the church which will be brought back to the RH and put by our sweetheart table. The first florist we talked with told us that those arrangements get 'donated' to the church, then the next two florists we spoke with said to bring them back to the RH. I can't see leaving them there, especially since the church already has it's own flowers! I think that florist was just trying to pad her bill.
I don't think it's necessary. I'm not spending a lot on church decor; I'm making my own pew bows and a wreath for the church door. The only professional flowers will be the alter pieces or I may just make them myself; not sure yet. I mean how hard is it to make two floral arrangements. I will be leaving those two alter pieces for church service the next morning.
all i am having is some pew bows
I dont think I will even be able to bring flowers into the chruch since I am getting married durning lent. But I really havent thought about the church decorations yet.
I am just doing pew bows. My church gets fresh arrangements every Friday.... it is an unnecessary expense for us.
I'm not doing them. I cant justify the cost for 45 min
