im a little ashamd to admit..but i dont know the traditional church music....im pretty sre i got when we r coming in but what songs r u guys using when we r on the way out tia

BP Processional- Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring
Bride Processional- Canon in D
Unity Candle- Con Te Partiro (Time to Say Goodbye)
Recessional- La Rejoussance- Handel (This is a little less known and I wanted something happy but different).

I told them to play whatever for the prelude.

Just as a thought this is a very interesting toppic since there is some music Jewish girls should not walk down the aisle to.

Im jewish so I cant rally help :)

I do kow that Ave Maria has been sung at a ton of christian wedding]s I have been to and its beautiful!

yea you can pick a song for the Unity Candle. The only others might be a few hymns if you are doing a full mass, the church can tell you about that. We are just doing a ceremony so we just needed something for the Unity Candle other than processionals and recessional

I believe we do need a song for the unity candle. So far this is what i have for my songs:

BP Processional- Bach- Sheep May Safely Graze
Bride Processional- Ave maria
Unity Candle-
Recessional- Mendelssohn- Wedding March
