I am having a reciving line but not sure who to include. I heard that traditionally, its only the bride and groom, and both the mother of the groom and the mopther of the bride. Is this correct?
Should other people be there with me?

I would think that your fathers, and grandparents should be there too. Also, if you have any siblings they should be included as well.

I would really like to but we may not because we are concerned about time. There are certain outdoor shots we want to get at the RH and since it will be December, we want make sure we get those shots in before the sun sets.

I am having a receiving line, and I think I am going to let the parents decide if they want to be included.
We are having two weddings, one in my home state and one in FH home state. So in my home state his parents are not going to know anyone and I don't want to have to stand there and introduce them to everyone. So we will see

My sister planned to, but couldn't, her ceremony ran at least a half hour behind b/c an altar boy got sick. It was cutting too close to her CH.
I planned to, but didn't, b/c I was a half hour late to the ceremony and stressed about having portrait time.
My sister regrets it. I don't. As it is, we only saw 10 minutes of our CH.
Oh but also - there were some attendees at the church that were not invited to the wedding - I would have liked to say hi to them that day, but we could not. I'm hoping that our video shows who was there, b/c we're not even 100% sure we really noticed anyone.

I'm doing a receiving line. Bride and Groom, my mom (dad passed) and his dad (his mom is in the hospital)
