church girls-- what did you throw/wave?

FH had said a while back that he wanted to do ribbon.. I wanted a butterfly release.

we're not allowed to throw ANYTHING. no rice, seed, petals, sopressata ( ), poppers.. nothing.

and I don't like the bubble idea.

so I agreed to do the ribbon.. and now he doesn't think he wants to do that.

SOOOOO.. any other ideas?

celia- i suggested making them and i think he doesn't want to try another diy, based on past experience, we end up giving up and buying whatever is needed...

We did bubbles, and I wasn't too excited about them until I saw this picture

i dont like the butterflies. they come frozen and half of them are always dead and it depresses me.

We had lavendar rice thrown at us and it was a huge mistake. My advice would be have NOTHING thrown at you. Ribbon wands or bubbles would be ok. But any kind of rice or seed - no way. It got stuck everywhere, in my hair, dress, lipgloss, and people got a lot of joy out of pelting us with it. It was funny, but I woke up the next morning with buds of lavendar in my bed.
