Church Mass...immediately after yours?!?!

I just found out that there's another wedding immediately following mine. Mine starts at 2:00 and there's another at 3:00. Problem is we're having a FULL MASS... Anyone experience this and how did you handle it? I really don't want confusion or to have strangers all around during such a beautiful time!! Am I being picky? Haha.I don't know!!!

I don't think you're being picky.

There are two hours before my ceremony and I think that is cutting it close, particulalry because people may linger.

As of now my chruch does not have a wedidng right after mine , we booked for a full mass but both our mothers dont mind if we just have the cermoney and no mass so we have some time to take pictures in the chruch but my wedidng is at 4 it may be possible for a 5 o clock wedding but the priest didnt think so!

Yeah, there's a private baptism an hour before mine..which I'm not concerned about. It's after the mass is over that I'm worried about. Ugh..!!! And of course, they re-did their wedding times for NEXT YEAR but what about THIS YEAR?!?!?!?!?!

No way! You're not being picky!! The mass will probably last an hour!!! I'd talk to the church about it. And you can't even bump your ceremony time up since there's a baptism also! Geez, that's a popular church! Good luck!

I am having a Saturday, full mass, at 3:30. I don't think there will be anything after mine because then it would interfere with regular Mass at 5:00pm. I just have to make sure that receiving line doesn't go into overtime!

My wedding is on Sunday and there is a mass until 2, my wedding ceremony starts at 2:30. I'm a little worried that people will take their time leaving. There is also another wedding after mine at 4pm
