Re: church music question

for the church weddings I have been to the parents, grandparents, etc walk into one song, then the BP walks in to another and the bride has her own song

Some song options:
Ava Maria
Here Comes the Bride
Cannon D

Re: church music question

We are doing something a bit different...we're having FHs paretns and grandparents stay up front, just stand while everyone else sits... then the BP will walk down, my mom will be escorted from one of the Gm, and then I will walk down with my brother...
I know I want Cannon D but I'm not sure about anything else...lool

Re: church music question

My church gave me a list of songs recommended (HIGHLY recommended) for each section. They also had a music selection day to go hear all the songs played. They prefer that the bridesmaids and brides walk to the same song because they feel you 'shouldn't draw attention to the bride.' (Yes direct quote). However she also said if we really wanted it they would.

My bridesmaids are walking to my all time favorite song Pachabels Cannon.

I am doing Here Comes the Bride (whatever the actual name is). My mom and I fought about this, until I heard them play it in the church. It gave me goosebumps and my mom and dad started crying.

Re: church music question

I think I am doing Pachabels Cannon in D for the grandmothers, my mother, BM FG & RB and then Here Comes the Bride for me and my dad

What other songs are done when you have a mass? I know the Ave Maria is a popular one
