If you're getting married in a church, does your church have certain rules about photog. and video??
I was reading something they sent me and it says no professional flash during the ceremony b/c it's distracting and all photos and videos must be taken from the back (asile area i guess)
distracting who? me?? i want these pics!!! lol

Re: Church Photo Rules???
I think my church said the same thing..but my sister was married there and it was never a issue. I am not going to even say anything to my photog or video guy...I think that is ridiculous..I am paying them to capture these moments. I wanted to ask my deacon about it but I would rather prentend I have no clue..LOL

Okay at least I'm not alone...I'm not going to say anything either..plus I use to babysit the Wedding Directors kids, so hopefully she won't enforce any silly rules!
I want the photographer to snap away!

My church has rules but I think it is more to keep the photogs from interfering with the ceremony. As long as they don't get crazy it will probably be ok.

Re: Church Photo Rules???
Most churches give out these rules. Its really so the Photographer & Videographer to not interfere with what is essentially the most important art of the entire day. Which are your vows. Dotn worry your Phot/Video will get everything! They are used to this.

yes, my church gave me a map of where the photographer/videographer can be. they can be at the borders of the church.

welll....believe it or not they have rules....but it depends on the priest...some priest are stricter than others.
My church has a circular alter and the video or phtog is not allowed in the front of the alter but can shoot from the back.....he def doesnt want them in the aisle....oh well...RULES
