Why not get married at the reception hall? Or, depending on the time of your, you could get married outside.
I'm Roman Catholic also, but my fiance is not. He was not raised with a religious background. So we are getting married in Lutheran Church. Our marriage will not be recognized in the catholic church, so that's the bad thing. But most other christian churches will marry you.

Tammy, my Husband did not make his confirmation prior to our wedding, and the priest that married us didn't have a problem w/ it either. My husband & I are both Roman Catholics,we are far from religious! our priest 's name is Father Hewes and he is at St. James R.C. church in Seaford on Hicksville Rd.and Seamens Neck rd, i don't know the phone number.
