I asked this on BHB but no one responded...hoping for better luck here! Did anyone order their church programs off the internet either through True Vine or some other website? If so, how did they turn out?

Re: Church Programs
I made them myself, as soon as I get a chance I will take pics. I just did scroll programs.
Jodi from SImplicity planning was goign to do mine. They were less than $100 for 150. I decided not to do them though beacsue I have no time to even arrange them.
(A wee bit on the stressed side these days...)

Re: Church Programs
I got mine from true vine. I loved the template and the programs are really nice. It was really easy to do. FI didnt like that the paper was regular paper, he wanted someting more like a card stock. For the price we paid though, I feel they were fine and they came out very nice.

Re: Church Programs
weddingboutique.us has the same programs ebay has for a little bit cheaper. I can't find the hard tri-fold paper I'm looking for at all. I wonder if Staple's would have it.......

Re: Church Programs
Mine are going to look similar to these. Different wording and layout though. I bought some nice heavyweight paper from Quick Pick in Farmingdale. It was only about $15 for 125 sheets. I am going to print them out and then bring them to kinkos to have the paper cut into thirds. And then I just have to buy some ribbon to tie them with. I think they will come out nice. I know someone who did christening programs like this and they came out great. It is going to cost me a lot less than the $200 they want if you order them online.

Well when you really think of it in the END they ALL go in the garbage. Have you been to anyones wedding where you still have THEIR wedding program saved in your home. Eventually when you are cleaning up it will be a casualty.

Re: Church Programs
I am planning to make mine also... and I found some paper that is seems to be great!
Go to staples and check out the Strathmore Antique Laid Paper- it comes in white or ivory. As for the hard paper, try the card stock at staples... it should be in the business presentation aisle.

Re: Church Programs
deby that's what I bought. I got the strathmore laid in ivory. it's 88 pund cover weight so it is pretty substantial. i'd say it's like a card stock. i looked at michael's but they really didn't have what I was looking for or it was like $1 per sheet. i got a whole ream for $15.
i agree, the programs will end up in the trash. that's why i don't want to spend $200+ on them. i already went over budget on the invites so i had to cut back somewhere.

Re: Church Programs
REALLY? I gues everyone is not as sentimental as me. I have 20 different wedding programs from all the weddings I 've been to. Well, I went to Staples and found 100 sheets for $9.00. Today and I WILL be printing them on my computer. Microsoft has a great brochure template to use with the tri-fold I got. Can't go wrong with the price at all.
