Re: church programs ASAP
Im doing several page booklets but its definitely possible to do simplier versions since you have limited time.Just make a very simple booklet style with an outline of the ceremony. Print and fold.

I thought you have someone doing them for you Cindy? If so, just put in the bridal party names and some basic info. Skip all of the little details.

Re: church programs ASAP
Sonicstef, is it that easy, just print and fold? Then I just buy the covers somewhere?

I bought covers for my programs as well as tassels to hold them together from www.wedfavors.com. They deliver very quickly.

Cindy, mine aren't even started yet either and I am the same date as you. You can even make the covers on the PC. My Pastor showed us some samples and the Brides and Grooms made there own covers on the PC and their actually looked really nice!

Cindy I know what you mean, I am packing a whole house that I have to have everything out by the 18th and also doing all this packing and wedding planning with a 5 year old grabing on to me every 2 sec. That template above that was put in looks very easy maybe try that.

Re: church programs ASAP
Cindy, I was in a worse situation than you last year... I actually waited till 6 days before my wedding to think about programs. Rather than stress over them, I had them printed for me at And I Quote in Port Jeff. They were able to rush order them for me, and I had them the day before the wedding. I thought paying for them was worth not having to run myself ragged making them. Good luck with whatever you decide!!

Re: church programs ASAP
Jennrenne, I went there for my wine bottle labels. Did they have different covers and a format to look through? Thanks for the information, ALL the information you have given to me during my planning.

Re: church programs ASAP
On such short notice you are limited to about 10 or so different designs and formats, but to be honest, even being limited, I loved my programs.
It's my pleasure to be able to help.
When I read your post on this topic, I remembered the desperation I felt last year, and I just had to help out if I could. If you want, I can scan my program and send it to you so you can see if you like it before you go all the way down there. It was a tri-fold, all white with black lettering. I had a choice of fonts and colors, but I thought basic black would be best.

Does everyone use programs? I was considering skipping this detail. What do you think?

Re: church programs ASAP
were skipping them.. we figured its the one thing we can get away with after having to postpone 4 weeks before our orginal date but we never wanted them to begin with..My family could care less, as well as myself. I feel they cause a ruckus and yes we won't hear it on the altar and the video won't pick it up...but I have seen them turn into fanning objects, as well as the sound of rustling paper gets to me and I don't want that happening to other guests. Both of our families are Roman Catholic and they know what to do during a mass also our readings our readings both of our parents and many cousins have used so most of us know them. I have seen them used during a catholic mass twice and both times it was because on of the families wasen't Catholic or atleast church going Catholics and had no clue about responses or when to stand..
Even though both of our families are 90 miles apart from showers and different events they all know our bridal party by name from spending time with them or seeing pictures so that factor we don't need them either. And any readers we pick before their readings our priest will say 'and here is a reading by Bob, the brides brother...and so on and so forth'
in a nutshell I don't want people reading I want them listening and enjoying themselves!

Re: church programs ASAP
Cindy...like JenRenee I waited until the last week...It was no problem at all...I bought a ream of paper at Staples that matched my colors and printed them whenever I had a chance to set it up and then leave (I had a 4 page booklet.) You could do something much simpler as well...don't stress...you'll get it all done...
