is anyone getting married at our lady of mercy in hicksville? or know someone who is? I was wondering if you knew what there' donation fee' was because i have been playing phone tag with the priest...i also found out that pre-cana starts in oct sunday nights...

I don't think you have to do pre-cana at that church. I know for our church, we can do it wherever within the diocese. If you can't get the priest on the phone, try the diocese.

In many parishes, the donation fee is separate from the Pre-Cana fee , so you might want to just see what the pre-cana fee is for now as you won't need to pay the donation until the rehearsal. Many don't include it because either their parish doesn't have a Pre-Cana program (not enough couples) or couples may elect to do the diocesan-wide Pre-Cana due to scheduling conflicts.
