Church Readers -

Church Readers -

Hey girls just wondering for those of you having special people do ceremony readings - how are you asking them and are you inviting them to RD?

Hey Date Twin! We are going to ask our godmother's to each do a reading. Our aunt's are both pretty religious so we are going to let them choose which one they want to read.

My Godmother (from my Confirmation) and His Godmother (From his Confirmation) will do it... they are very religious... and We are close to them... We think we really want someone who is devoted & active with Church to do that... and they are BOTH involve in church...

Yes... We will invite them.
They do Church readings already in Masses... So We will ask them Next year... (ill say couple of months before our wedding)...
I think one day after church we will ask them...

We just out and out asked our readers. We didn't do anything special...just asked when we saw them.

We will invite them to the rehearsal. I think they need to be there?

Well we only asked one so far, which is my SIL and I literally just asked her one day when she was over my mom's house and I was showing her some WR stuff. She was so excited. When we figure out exactly who else is going to do which reading, we'll probably just ask them when we see them.

And yes, they will be invited to the RD with a guest.

My cousin and my good friend from high school will do our readings. My aunt (my cousin's mom) is going to be doing the singing during the ceremony!

I just called them and asked, since my cousin is on Long Island, my friend is in Pittsburgh, and I am in DC!

My aunt, cousin, and my uncle as well as my friend and her husband will attend the RD

Not sure how many we will have this point but they will probably be my brother and SIL since they are really active in the church and maybe my FH's Godmother...

Yes they will be invited to the RD if we end up having one.

i just asked my 2 cousins at thanksgiving dinner!

I asked my only 2 female cousins to read and FH is going to ask one of his cousins. I just pulled them aside and asked them. We are inviting them to the RD and I'm having a corsage for each of them and will give them a little thank you gift as well.
