Am I supposed to get them flowers to wear? What about a gift for doing the reading? Do they come to the rehersal dinner? I am so clueless

Re: Church readers
I got them small bout's to wear, I got carnations not roses. Yes I did invite them to Rehearsal because I wanted them to be comfortable and yes, I did get them gifts as well. I got my female reader this mug and added a Pen from things remembered and some silver plated bookmarks:
for my male reader, I got him a book on golf courses (he's a golf NUT) and a few golf magazine subscriptions for a year.
GOOD LUCK

Re: Church readers
These are for my two sister in law readers (+ a corsage)
Our aunts are our readers. We are getting each of them a corsage and giving them this at the RD. Then at the wedding we will take a picture with each one of them and then have a 5 x 7 made and give it to them to put in the frame.

Re: Church readers
I am having one reader, and she will be at the RD, I got her a silver bracelet with her name engraved in it, and I am making her a jewelery box with a cross stitched rose on it. And she will be getting a corsage

I had 2 readers. We got my brother 2 cigars and a leather case for them. And my SIL we gave her a nice book mark and a engraved glass that she wanted. We also got them flowers.(bout and corsage)

Re: Church readers
Yes they should have flowers. I think you need them at the rehearsal so they know when they go (some let them actually read to get a feel on how it is), so yes to the dinner too.

Re: Church readers
Yes to rehursal dinner because they should be at the rehursal (if they can make it), so they can practice the reading. Corsage/boutonneire is something very nice as well. I don't think a gift is in order though, but would be greatly appreciated if you felt like doing it.
