Church Rehearsal

so i finally spoke with the priest about a rehearsal, i am getting married the sunday after thanksgiving, he tells me we can have it the monday before, so whatever i can deal with that
then i ask him about meeting with him to discuss readings and giving him our paperwork and he says just bring everything to the rehearsal

is this normal, i thought we would meet to discuss the readings and our vows and what not,
what did you girls do
