Hi - I always thought that the rehearsal for the church was the Friday night before a Saturday wedding, but I've seen some posts on mid-week rehearsal dinners. Is that just if you are getting married on a Friday? I always assumed the rehearsal would be the night before. I'm getting married at St. Edwards in Syosset btw. Just curious how it's usually done.
All the rehearsals I have been to have been during the week, I think it's because most churches have weddings Friday- Sunday.
It depends on the time of the rehearsal and the individual church. My wedding is on a Saturday and my rehearsal is on a Friday after the last wedding is done.
my church rehearsals can only take place wed, thurs and fri if the church is available

we're having ours on a Thrusday and our wedding is on Saturday early in the morning. I just don't want to be at a rehearsal the night before when there are so many other things I will need to be doing.
my church told me anywhere between Tues-Friday. I hope its on a thursday, I will find out soon.

I would call the church to try to schedule it and see what they say. I'm getting married on a Sunday and was told that they could do my rehearsal on Saturday so I booked it
