So our ceremony at the church starts at 3 and it's an hour so it'll end at 4 but the reception doesn't start till 730. What are all the guests supposed to do for 3 1/2 hours?? Our rh is only like 10mins away so that won't even help

Re: Church/RH?
That's my problem too. My house is way too small to have all the guests in.. so we're probably going to have to rent a suite at a hotel and have appetizers/drinks for the guests.

Re: Church/RH?
My mom wanted to rent like an american legion hall for in between bc she doesn't want everyone in her house lol. But I think thats a bit much and then what are the guests supposed to do when they get there?? That adds on a big not needed expense bc then I will feel like I have to get them food, booze etc..ugh i don't kno!

Re: Church/RH?
I think I lot of guests don't show up to mass anyhow and many just ebtertain themselves in between. Unless you have a lot of out of towners, I would not worry.

The church says 3 is the latest they can do on a Saturday which I find odd bc I remember going to 5pm mass and seeing the bride just leave.

I have no idea. I'm hoping a good amt though. The aisle is 75 ft and I'd hate for only 2 of the pews to be filled lol!!! But we are both close with our families and we have a good amt of out of towners coming.I don't know tho it's hard to tell who is going to come to the church and who isnt.

hmm...try talking to your RH and see if they have any suggestions. Maybe they have a bar area where a few people can hang out?

Re: Church/RH?
Giorgio's has a restaruant/bar areas that guests are welcome to come to... we are assuming that a lot of the LOCALS will go home between and that some of the out of towners will either go to a HOTEL....... or..... not go to the church and just come to the RH
